Replacement phytosanitary certificates may be issued when an original certificate contains incorrect or incomplete information, or when the document has been lost. In such cases, it is possible to request a replacement certificate.
When the original certificate has already left the Netherlands or has been issued electronically, the replacement process is handled entirely digitally via myNaktuinbouw. If you still have the original paper certificate in your possession, it can be exchanged for a corrected version. For a new electronic certificate, a replacement must always be requested.
A replacement takes time and can therefore cause delays. This is why it is important to check in advance that all the information in your application is correct and to include all required documents right away. By doing so, you avoid errors and ensure that the export process runs much more smoothly.
After receiving your authorization, I prepare the replacement certificate on behalf of your company. This is done on the basis of the correct documentation, any import or pre‑export certificates, and the necessary laboratory tests. Once all information is complete and accurate, the replacement certificate can be requested.
